6TH ANNUAL HERO APPRECIATION MONTHS
January - March 2012
Current and former Firefighters/EMS, Law Enforcement/Peace Officers & Armed Forces/Veterans enjoy thank you discounts from participating member businesses for 3 months, once the honoree picks up a thank you card from a card issuer. The discount offered is ordinarily 20% off the rate which a participant normally charges at this time of year, for their services or products. Some exceptions/limitations will apply. Also, everyone is invited to come celebrate with us, as we honor each individual group of heroes with refreshments, stories, and awards, at 7 p.m. on the last Friday of each month, at the Three Rivers Historical Museum located at 42268 Sierra Dr/Hwy 198, Three Rivers, California in addition to a Snowman Building Contest at Wuksachi in nearby Sequoia National Park on Saturday 1/14/12, a Learn to Square Dance Party at the Three Rivers Veterans Memorial Building on Saturday 2/18/12, and a Family Picnic with Bathtub Race at Lake Kaweah which will be held on Saturday 3/31/12. All of these events are open to the Public. All are free with the exception of a $4 per vehicle day use fee for the Picnic with Bathtub Race at Lake Kaweah.
